Linux: Creating Hard Disk and ISO images
http://www.backuphowto.info/linux-backup-hard-disk-clone-dd
dd if=/dev/sda of=~/disk1.img
This work for an win2k disk to pull the ISO. I was able to used the pulled ISO to build a virtual machine.
