Debian vs. Ubuntu vs. Linux Mint: Which Distribution Should You Use?

  • Article doesn't answer the question, but does give a quick comparison
Although it is much a matter of taste, Unity is fine if I want to watch Youtube or surf the internet, but for many of the task I do, it is a real pain in the neck.  Unfortunately, Mint changes too many things and I am having to relearn too much.  I wish Ubuntu would support the old interface so I could opt out of Unity without having to cut off a finger or two.
